our story
In 2004, while serving as a youth pastor, God called Pastor Barry & Christina Rice to plant a church. God gave them a vision of a church that would be Life-giving. They dreamed the church would be exciting, accepting and relevant to our culture; a place where people could build strong spiritual relationships and experience Jesus in a real way. After much prayer and fasting, God directed the Rice family to plant that church in Orlando, Florida, particularly in the Narcoossee Road Corridor (Rt. 15). God directed Pastor Barry to call his dream Greater Orlando Church. We uniquely refer to it as “GO Church”.
On March 19, 2005, GO Church launched its very first service. Nearly 5 years later, our church continues to grow and God is now directing our path to the new Lake Nona High School on Narcoossee Rd. God has answered our prayers in providing a larger meeting place for our Sunday Celebration Service. Over the past 5 years, GO Church has seen many people turn their lives over to Jesus, and allow life-change to take place as they follow Him.
The dream is happening and the story continues as we follow the model that Jesus left for us to…..
