Women’s Ministry at GO Church is a place for women of all ages and life situations. The door is open to anyone whether you are a member of our church or choose to attend another one. The heart of this area of ministry is to meet ladies right where they are in life and come along side them, encouraging, supporting, praying and equipping them along in their journey with God.
Titus 2: 3-5 3Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
Mission Statement: GO Church Women’s Ministry exits to equip women to be fully devoted followers of Christ and then to empower them to be godly influencers of their families, friends and their communities for the glory of God.
We strive to equip women to:
1. Personally come to know God as Lord and Savior
2. Grow in a personal walk with Him
3. Memorize scripture
4. Develop and cultivate a prayer life
5. Learn to love their husband, children, friends and others
6. Seek out opportunities to serve the body of Christ
We provide opportunities through:
1. Monthly Women’s Ministry gatherings
2. Weekly Women’s Bible Study groups
3. Quarterly “Special” Women’s Outings
4. Quarterly Church-wide Community Service Events
Matthew 28: 19-20
19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Vision:
The vision and heart of this part of GO Church is to correctly and obediently align Women’s Ministry with the goals, vision and heart of the whole church, which is to:
1. Put God first in everything we do and to glorify him alone
2. To connect people with the message of God’s love and to see families and our community transformed by God.
3. Build disciples whom then go out to build more disciples to carry the hope of the cross to a hurting world.
